Just finished the second round of annealing this set of cases with the EP. The first time, I used the Tempilaq method, and did not see the color change in the neck or upper body of the case, like results from more experienced annealers. This time, I used the red glow method, which resulted in lowering the speed from 38 to 31. This is the result. It looks more consistent with what I was trying to achieve, and more like the cases from the better annealers. These are 300 Win Mag cases.
Would appreciate comments, and will try to share a pic of the results.
Thanks, Steve
That looks really good actually! Anneal mark is roughly 1/4" down the body of the brass. Fantastic! 👍
